Salesforce releases are major platform updates delivered three times a year—Winter, Spring, and Summer—that introduce new features, enhancements, and security updates. In addition to these seasonal releases, some products now ship updates on a more frequent, monthly schedule. To see what’s coming soon, visit Release Notes for Features Released Monthly.

Salesforce delivers three seasonal releases every year. You’ll typically see Spring in February, Summer in June, and Winter in October. In addition to these seasonal releases, some products now ship updates on a more frequent, monthly schedule. To see what’s coming soon, visit Release Notes for Features Released Monthly.

You can find the next release’s key milestones—sandbox preview, release weekends, and upgrade windows at Salesforce Trust Status by clicking the "Maintenances" tab. Dates are published months in advance to help you plan and test.

Each release includes hundreds of new features across Salesforce's products—plus platform enhancements, bug fixes, and security updates. Review the release notes to see what’s new.

Go to Salesforce Trust Status and click on the "Maintenances" tab to find official Salesforce release dates and timelines.

Go to Setup → Company Information and locate your Instance. Then visit the Trust Site Instance Search to see which version is currently deployed for that instance.

Regular releases keep your org secure, scalable, and innovative—without manual upgrades or downtime. Each release introduces features that help admins, developers, and users work smarter and deliver more value.

Patch or maintenance updates are smaller, targeted fixes released between major updates. They’re designed to resolve specific bugs or performance issues without affecting your overall release version.
