According to a survey report, Singapore’s economy would need another 1.2 million digitally skilled workers by 2025, representing a 55 per cent jump from the present 2.2 million in the workforce that apply digital skills

The demand for digital skills in Singapore is expected to grow significantly, and the widening gap between demand and supply needs to be bridged immediately.

The Salesforce-YouGov report on Digital Skills in Singapore reveals the current capabilities, expectations, and requirements for digital skilling across industries and includes private, public, and NFP organisations with 1 to 100+ employees. These findings are based on a survey conducted with 1000+ middle managers and senior management professionals pan-Singapore.

The report reveals interesting insights on the importance organisations place on digital skills, the level of preparedness among different sectors, and what needs to be done to bridge the skills gap.
