Last week, our APAC team was so proud to march in the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. By being part of the celebrations, we amplified our message of equality and encouraged other Trailblazers in our Ohana to do the same.
The Mardi Gras parade was the culmination of weeks of preparation — of designing and constructing the float and costumes, and dance practice to perfect the choreography.
We were also very pleased to be joined on the Salesforce float by JOY 94.9, Australia’s out, loud and proud radio station.
Our team, and particularly our Outforce members — LGBTIQ+ and allies – invested this time because equality is at the heart of who we are as a company. We strongly believe that business can be a powerful platform for social change and we actively champion equality for all.
Supporting the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras and dancing in the streets was just another way we could be visible, vocal and proud.
