Event Details

Salesforce Industries Summit for Retail and Consumer Goods will take place on Tuesday 9 August, 2022, between 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. AEST.

Salesforce Industries Summit for Retail and Consumer Goods will take place on Level 1 of the Sofitel Melbourne on Collins. Registration will be at the top of the escalator situated off Collins Place.
This event is complimentary (excludes parking).
Your registration includes access to the Keynote, breakout sessions, Industries Summit Campground and networking lunch. Food and beverage will be provided throughout the day.

Admission to breakouts and theatre sessions is first-come, first seated. We advise you to arrive early to ensure you get the sessions you really want. Capacity is limited.
  • The Industries Summit Campground is located in Sofi’s Lounge on the Lobby Floor. Demonstrations, catering, and sponsors are all located here.
  • The Industries Summit Campground will be operational from 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
  • Keynote is located in the Grand Ballroom on the lobby level of Sofitel on Collins. Entrance will be from the foyer.
  • All breakouts are accessible from the lobby level of Sofitel on Collins. Rooms include the Grand Ballroom and Fitzroy Ballroom.

COVID-19 Health and Safety

Salesforce continues to monitor the COVID-19 situation and will make decisions in the best interest of our customers, partners and employees. In the spirit of keeping our communities safe, we are asking all guests to follow our COVID-19 safety guidelines.

By attending this event you confirm that you have returned a negative rapid antigen test within the 24 hours prior, have not tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 7 days, and are not experiencing any COVID-19 related symptoms upon arrival.

Transportation

The best taxi drop off and pick up locations include Collins Street & Collins Lane.
Sofitel Melbourne On Collins is 40-minute drive from Tullamarine Airport. Rental vehicles, limousines, taxis and shuttles to, and from the airport can be booked.

To join us via Public Transport Victoria (PTV), you can take the train to either Flinders Station or Parliament Station and it's just a short walk from both stations. To arrive via tram, you may get off at either the 101 Collins Street or Spring Street stops. Sofitel is located in the Free Tram Zone.
Sofitel Melbourne on Collins operates several parking options:
$65 Valet Parking, per night, per car for in-house guests
$45 Casual parking for up to 3 hours maximum
$70 Casual parking for 3 hours or more, within the day

Food and Beverage

  • Tea, coffee and light breakfast items will be served on arrival. Morning Tea will also be served in the foyer. Lunch will be available in the Industries Summit Campground following the conclusion of all content.
  • At the end of the event, networking drinks and canapés will be provided.
  • Should you have any special dietary needs, please include details when you register, or contact us with your requests.
There are a wide variety of outlets in surrounding precinct and CBD. See https://www.collinsplace.com.au/stores or further information. There will be catering available at the event between 8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
Customers with dietaries not catered for in the menu will be available to pick up in the event foyer area near the Perth Room Entrance.

Flights and Accomodation

Sofitel Melbourne on Collins is located central to the CBD and can host you during your stay. Please book directly with the hotel.
International and domestic flights will arrive and depart from Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine Airport), MEL.
Depending on the time of day, Sofitel Melbourne On Collins is 40-minute drive from Tullamarine Airport. Please see the Transportation section of this page for more information.

Tickets and Registration

You will receive your e-Ticket via email or SMS (provided you opt-in to receive event updates via your mobile during registration) the morning of the event.

Having your e-Ticket showing on your mobile device upon arrival at the venue will allow for a speedy entry. If you do not have it available or did not receive it, you will still be able to check-in.
Please check your SPAM mailbox. Please let an Ambassador know on the day if you are still unable to locate your e-Ticket and they will be happy to help.

Sofitel Melbourne on Collins Amenities

Male, female, and accessible toilets are located throughout the venue. Primary access will be inside the Industries Summit Campground.
Coats and bags can be stored in the Sofitel Cloak Room, Level 1 Promenade in between the Grand Ballroom and Victoria Suits.
A dedicated parenting room is not available however request can be accommodated. Please include details when you register, or contact us with your requests.

If you require assistance while at the venue, please visit hotel concierge or ask one of our friendly team members.
All spaces within Sofitel on Colins are equiped with first aid kits and all hotel managers will have first aid qualifications. The duty manager is to be contacted and will assess and action accordingly. In the event that you require first aid assistance, please alert any venue or event staff.
Yes – all details are included on the back of each customer's badge.
Refillable water stations and water coolers are located throughout the Industries Summit Campground.
Smoking is prohibited in Sofitel Melbourne on Collins. This includes all conference and event venues, accommodation rooms, public areas and rest rooms, food and beverage outlets, the driveway area and the Collins Place complex.

Accessible toilets, ramps and spacious passenger lifts are available throughout the venue. Lowered or angled counters are located at key retail and customer service points.
If requested event staff will be made available to answer accessibility questions and provide support at the event. If requested volunteers wearing Abilityforce t-shirts will be onsite and able to assist with any accessibility requests at event check in.
Yes, guide dogs and other registered assistance dogs are welcome in all areas of the venue.
Unfortunately, Sofitel does not have a specific location for charging ports for mobility devices.
Yes. Priority seating is available in our keynote and breakout rooms. You can request this service and others when registering by indicating that you have accessibility requirements. If you require reserved seating in the larger keynotes, please plan to arrive 30 minutes before the keynote begins.

If requested Abilityforce volunteers will be available throughout the Sofitel on Collins, and will be happy to help you navigate to your destination. Please state this when registering if you need assistance.

Step free entrances are available from the Collins Place entrance with lift access. Lifts are also operational from the car park and various areas within Collins Place.

Once inside the event, all event spaces are within the same level.
Sofitel on Collins provides male and female bathrooms only.

Security and Code of Conduct

As such, we’re implementing security measures for attendees, that include badge requirements to access areas of the event including Keynote and Breakout rooms and the Industries Summit Campground.
