Accessibility Guide for World Tour Sydney

This is a World Tour Sydney and International Convention Centre Sydney (also called ICC) sensory-inclusive explanation of what to expect on the event day.

Please scroll down the page for a walk-through of the day from your perspective.

This page can be listened to with a screen reader.

Getting to and leaving ICC Sydney

I’m on my way to Salesforce World Tour Sydney.
I should arrive around 8:00 a.m. AEDT so I can check in to the event and start my day.
The event finishes at 6:00 p.m AEDT.

The event is at International Convention Centre Sydney. The address is 14 Darling Drive.

To leave, I will make my way to the level 2 external lifts and take the lift down to the ground floor, where there is easy access to transport and parking.

Thank you for attending World Tour Sydney.

I’m traveling in a taxi or rideshare, or being dropped off.

The best drop off and pick up locations are Iron Wharf Place, which is next to Harbourside Shopping, and Zollner Circut, on the southern end of Aware Super Theatre (ICC Sydney). For either option, I will allow four to six minutes to make my way to Level 2 concourse where staff will direct me to the event entrance.

I’m traveling on public transport.

There are several public transport options, including Sydney Light Rail, train, bus, ferry and water taxi. Check out the Getting to ICC Sydney Guide.

I’m driving myself and will need to park onsite.

ICC Sydney operates two 24 hour car parking stations with a total of 826 parking spaces including 12 disabled parking bays, 25 motorcycle parking spaces, 50 bicycle racks and 20 electric car charge spaces. Full information and rates are available in the Getting to ICC Sydney Guide.

I have arrived at ICC Sydney

This is what I can expect for the rest of the day at World Tour Sydney.

I will first need to go through security.

When I arrive at the venue, I will need to go through the security scanning process. This includes X-ray bag checks and metal detectors. Small and large suitcases are not permitted into the event, but I can use cloakroom facilities to store these if I need. The cloakroom is located next to the main registration area, and is free of charge for all attendees.

Next I will check in to the event.

I’ll go to the main registration area on level 4 of ICC and after clearing security, I will make my way to the check-in help desk. I will pull up my e-ticket from my email to help me check in faster and collect my badge. Volunteers wearing Abilityforce t-shirts will be available at the Campground on level 1, and behind Abilityforce signage on level 4 if I need more help.

ICC Accessibility Provisions

I can find all accessibility provisions for the ICC venue in the Accessibility Guide (PDF), including wheelchair access, accessible toilets and parent rooms, Braille and hearing loop options. If I need support on accessing or finding the venue accessibility provisions, I can ask Abilityforce volunteers.

What are the food and drink options?

I can get food and drinks in the big expo hall (Halls 1-3), also called The Campground, on level 1. There will be some lower-height tables available at Genie’s Gourmet closest to Breakout G in the catering zone, so I can easily access and collect my food and drinks. I can get morning coffee at 8:00 a.m., after registration opens, morning tea at 9:00 a.m., lunch at 1:00 p.m., and networking food at 4:00 p.m.
This is subject to change.

What if I need some quiet time?

If it is too loud or I need some quiet time I can head to the Quiet Zone on level 3. This zone is a quiet area. I can access quiet and calming activities available to me, such as a raking sand garden and colour in books.

How do I get extra help?

I can ask volunteers wearing Abilityforce t-shirts if I have accessibility requests or need any help. I can find them at the Abilityforce desk, located on level 1 of the ICC. I can also ask any Salesforce staff, event staff, or ICC employee and they can help me too.

We look forward to seeing you in Sydney.
