The Future is Now: More Than 600 Autonomous Agents Come To Life at Agentforce Sydney

Agentforce World Tour has touched down in Sydney this week as Royal Randwick buzzed with more than 3,000 attendees. Salesforce leaders and innovative Australian companies like Fisher & Paykel, OFX, and Funlab showcased Salesforce’s AI vision, ushering in the third wave of agent-powered AI.

Throughout the day, Salesforce customers brought Agentforce to life, building more than 669 autonomous agents to address specific business problems in their companies.

In a matter of minutes, customers simply described their use cases through a cutting-edge, AI-powered Slack app that interfaces with a Large Language Model (LLM), and saw their input transform into a functioning AI agent prototype that they could take home with them to continue experimenting.

It was a fantastic display of innovation, unprecedented in our industry – as we build the future together with our customers.

Unlike traditional chatbots and copilots that depend on human inputs and falter with complex tasks, Agentforce introduces a new level of autonomy. It retrieves necessary data, creates action plans, and executes them independently. Agentforce uses real-time data to adapt to changes and operates within an organisation’s customised guardrails, ensuring every customer interaction is informed and valuable. When needed, Agentforce smoothly transitions to human employees, providing a summary of the interaction, customer details, and next-step recommendations.

Pilot customers, including Fisher & Paykel, have also shared positive feedback. Sarah Lukins, General Manager, Digital for Fisher & Paykel Appliances said:

“Just five years ago, our customer data was siloed and disconnected, which was at odds with our vision to become the world’s most human-centred appliance brand. Today, thanks to the Salesforce platform, we’ve united our data to achieve a comprehensive, 360-degree view of our customers. Agentforce is taking this a step further, enriching our data and empowering us to deliver even better experiences for our staff and customers.

The Agentforce Sydney Launch Zone really came to life today, and it was great to have the chance to share our experiences of Agentforce with so many people, and in turn, see them get hands on with autonomous agents.”

Many customers highlighted the practical advantages of Agentforce, noting its potential to reduce manual work and automate repetitive tasks. One customer said, “It used very little information that I gave it to build a really comprehensive tool. The ability to cut down time spent on tasks is really exciting. It really cuts down on effort, maximises efficiency and productivity.”

“The best way for people to grasp the simplicity and power of building autonomous AI agents is to let them dive in and experience it firsthand,” said Salesforce’s General Manager ANZ, Frank Fillmann, “That’s one of the reasons we gathered thousands of customers at Agentforce World Tour Sydney—so they could roll up their sleeves and build an agent live and onsite. Seeing business leaders create an agent in 20 minutes is mindblowing. It was a fantastic display of innovation, unprecedented in our industry–as we build the future together with our customers.”

Another customer said, “It’s not just the big end of town that will benefit from these AI agents. It’s the smaller organisations that are going to benefit as well. It’s going to create a revolution in terms of business growth.”

Sydney is one of more than 20 stops on the Agentforce World Tour that will showcase the capabilities of the new program to customers on the ground. The program will roll out to additional cities including Auckland (14 November) and Melbourne (19 November).
