How Salesforce Responds to Climate Disasters

As climate disasters surge, Salesforce is working to reduce the impact of future disasters while responding to urgent needs now. Here’s how.

Over the last few months, we’ve all seen the impacts of climate change – from the devastating fires in Hawai’i, to the flooding and tropical storms in the American Northeast, India, and South Asia, to extreme heat felt around the globe.

Historically at Salesforce, we planned our response to climate disasters around peak seasons when severe disasters were more likely. But what’s become increasingly clear as climate change continues to accelerate is that a reactive, crisis-specific approach isn’t going to cut it.

Reimagining disaster philanthropy

We need to take bolder and more proactive action. Meeting the moment

The stark reality is that disasters are no longer confined to just a season. Climate change has made it our year-round normal, requiring proactive action from all of us.

Together, we can help mitigate, prepare, and respond to future climate disasters.
