Salesforce Tower Sydney Opens ‘Ohana Floors to Community

Salesforce announced today the official opening of its Ohana Floors in Salesforce Tower Sydney to Australian not-for-profit and community organisations to host fundraisers, receptions, and special events.

The announcement was made at a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by local not-for-profits, the Hon Dr Andrew Leigh, Assistant Minister for Competition, Charities and Treasury, Frank Fillmann, General Manager ANZ, Salesforce and Relina Bulchandani, EVP, Real Estate & Workplace Services, Salesforce, to mark the one-year anniversary of the opening of Salesforce Tower Sydney.

The ‘Ohana Floors in Sydney Tower form part of a global company initiative offering event spaces at the top of Salesforce towers to not-for-profits and foundations aligned with the company’s culture of giving back. To date, not-for-profit events held on ‘Ohana floors in Salesforce towers around the world have raised over $111 million USD ( $166 million AUD). 

As a founder of the Pledge 1% movement, Salesforce has publicly committed to a unique 1-1-1 model, which commits 1% of the company’s equity, technology, and employees’ time to build a more equitable and sustainable world.

Since arriving in Australia and New Zealand in 2004, Salesforce has contributed over $17 million AUD in grants and donations and over 384,000 volunteering hours in their community.

Located on the 51st, 52nd, and 53rd floors of Salesforce Tower Sydney, the ‘Ohana Floors offer 360-degree city views overlooking the Harbour Bridge, Opera House, and skyline. 

The ‘Ohana Floors are ideally suited for receptions, galas, and fireside chats for up to 100 guests and feature flexible collaboration spaces, a barista bar, an exhibition kitchen. and dining area.

The Cerebral Palsy Alliance is one of many local not-for-profit organisations to have already used the Salesforce Tower Sydney’s ‘Ohana Floors facilities, hosting three events over the last year to commemorate both their STEPtember campaign and support their research foundation. 

“The challenges we face across the Australian community are too big for just one organisation to solve alone. To have Salesforce be so supportive of our mission here in Australia is incredibly helpful, and one part of ensuring the Cerebral Palsy Alliance can have such a positive impact across the country and around the world. This is what happens when great minds think differently,” said Lucy Jacka, General Manager of Fundraising at the Cerebral Palsy Alliance.

“While we’ve already hosted more than 150 guests in other spaces at the Salesforce Tower in the last year, we’re looking forward to making use of the ‘Ohana Floors to offer our community of volunteers and supporters a unique experience in the heart of the Sydney CBD,” added Jacka.
