Salesforce’s Updated Trailhead GO App Taps the Power of Personalized Learning

Today, Salesforce released the latest version of its Trailhead GO mobile app, which enables users to learn in-demand skills required for today and tomorrow’s jobs. Trailhead GO now offers more personalized learning content and easy ways to collaborate with Trailblazers.

Why it’s relevant: Demand for app-based learning has surged in recent years, largely due to the rapid adoption of new technologies like AI. For example, two-thirds of corporate leaders report their company is looking for ways to use generative AI, but 62% of workers say they don’t have the skills to effectively and safely use the technology.

Innovation in action: The latest release of the free Trailhead GO mobile app features a new home screen — the reimagined “Today” page — which helps learners jump into bite-sized learning modules on Trailhead, find relevant conversations on the Trailblazer Community, and track their progress with Trailblazer Ranks

New features on the page include:

  • Personalized learning content: Learners can discover recommended Trailhead modules based on recent activity and access in-progress and favorited modules to earn points, badges, and ranks that demonstrate expertise.
  • Trailblazer Community carousel: Users can now quickly ask or answer questions, get help, and stay up-to-date on the people and groups they follow.
  • Track progress: Learners can easily follow their journey from the Today page as they earn points and badges and climb the Trailblazer Ranks.

The Salesforce perspective: “It’s critical that we provide app-based learning opportunities to help Trailblazers learn the in-demand skills that today’s jobs require — and the ones that will be needed in a future powered by data and AI. With Trailhead GO, we’re making it easy to access personalized learning and connections that help people grow these skill sets any time, anywhere.” – Ann Weeby, SVP of Trailhead
