Salesforce Winter ’25 Release: Agentforce Agents, New Connectors for Data Cloud, and More

Salesforce today announced that the Winter ʼ25 release preview is now live. 

Why it matters: The Winter ʼ25 release includes hundreds of new features, including autonomous AI Agents, connected data tools, and generative AI capabilities. These features will be generally available on October 14, 2024, and help companies:

  • Scale their sales and service teams with Agentforce.
  • Unlock trapped data to power more personalized customer experiences.
  • Use AI to resolve service cases faster.

Highlights from the Winter ʼ25 product release:

  • Data Cloud: New Connectors — Unlocks and brings trapped data from external apps into Data Cloud using more than 200 pre-built Data Cloud connectors.

  • Sub-Second Real-time Data Layer — Unlocks, harmonizes, and activates trapped data within milliseconds to power real-time customer experiences and activations across Salesforce.
  • Agentforce SDR Agent — Customers can now engage every inbound lead, automate outreach and prospecting, and qualify leads with an autonomous AI. Agentforce SDR Agent can send introduction emails, answer questions, handle objections, and schedule meetings to nurture pipeline 24/7.
  • Quota Planning — With the Quota Attainment Planning tool, users can easily build quota plans from the ground up based on sales territories, all within their Salesforce CRM. Quota Planning improves transparency, relevancy, and speed by giving reps a running total of their quarterly account plans with the ability to capture adjustments at the plan or account level.
  • Agentforce Service Agent — Companies can engage customers anytime and resolve cases faster with Agentforce Service Agent, a trusted AI team member for every service experience. The Service Agent can be deployed swiftly across channels using pre-built templates and customized to any brand and voice with low code to provide humanlike customer interactions grounded in trusted data.
  • Employee Service — Salesforce’s new AI-powered solution for streamlining employee support equips every employee with what they need to find the right answers and take action from one unified system. Employees get help at every step of their journey with AI-powered processes, tools, and seamless integrations with departmental systems.
