Supercharging Einstein Call Summaries with xGen-Sales

We first piloted xGen-Sales for Einstein Call Summaries. With the power of xGen-Sales, sales reps can say goodbye to the days of looking through notes to find the information they need. Instead, they can ask Einstein to summarize the important call information in seconds, allowing them to create concise and actionable summaries from their sales calls quickly. They can also tell Einstein to identify key takeaways and customer sentiment. This way, they can focus on what’s most important: closing deals.

While Einstein Call Summaries was part of our existing Sales Cloud offering, what was truly groundbreaking was the introduction of our in-house LLM, xGen-Sales. At Salesforce, we have a steadfast commitment to trust – our #1 value. By building our in-house LLMs, we can proudly provide an option where all data remains secure within the Salesforce ecosystem, offering our clients complete confidence in their data management practices. Not only is it trusted, but we found that xGen-Sales is not only as robust as leading LLM options but upping the game when it comes to trust. 

When we developed xGen-Sales, we had sustainability in mind. This model is far more efficient, requiring less computational power than traditional LLMs. That means less energy consumption and a smaller carbon footprint. Our Approach to Building xGen-Sales

The Power of Fine-tuning: Elevating Accuracy and Efficiency

At its core, xGen-Sale is a finely tuned model that delivers precise and rapid responses, optimizing sales operations and empowering sales teams to achieve peak performance. By meticulously training and designing the model, we have achieved remarkable precision in executing various sales tasks. These include generating insightful customer profiles, enriching contact lists with valuable information, swiftly summarizing calls, and diligently tracking the sales pipeline, ensuring that no opportunity slips through the cracks.

xGen-Sales was created by refining our most advanced large language models with human-in-the-loop reinforcement learning, using vast datasets from diverse sources. Moreover, we curated dialogues with external data, such as product guides, customer success stories, and industry best practices. This comprehensive training dataset empowered xGen-Sales to capture crucial customer information, comprehend contexts, and produce summaries with impact.

We even conducted a human evaluation to estimate the quality of the call summaries generated by xGen-Sales. As a result of this study, we found that the summaries generated by xGen-Sales set a new standard, outperforming the alternatives on the market.

Today xGen-Sales is only available to a subset of pilot customers.
