TrailheaDX is here and we’re getting ready to kick off two amazing days of hands-on learning, giving back, meeting up with all your favorite Trailblazers, and all while having a blast. So grab your hoodies, trail hats of choice, and canteens — you won’t want to miss these seven event highlights.
1. The TrailheaDX keynote
Come see the latest technology in action, and leave inspired to blaze a trail at your own company with Salesforce. This year’s keynote is called The Empowered Trailblazer: Continuous Innovation on the Salesforce Platform. Please join our Co-Founder Parker Harris, EVP Developer Relations and GM Trailhead Sarah Franklin, and our own product experts in celebrating empowered Trailblazers. We’ll get a look at how Trailblazers are leveraging the Salesforce platform to innovate, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and make the world a better place.
2. All the latest product announcements
Another reason to head to the keynote room is for all the product announcements. You’ll hear about the things we’ve been working on to help you become more successful with your customers. While we can’t reveal anything just yet, you can be sure the next few days will have Trailblazers abuzz.
3. The Future Trailblazer Challenge
Back in the 80s, Whitney Houston famously sang the lyrics, “I believe the children are our future. Teach them well and let them lead the way.” Those words still ring true today, especially when you see programs like Future Ready in action. For the past six weeks, 135 Bay Area students have been working on the Future Trailblazer Challenge — a competition where students create their vision of a sustainable future using cutting edge technologies like 3D printing, electronics, and more. Through the challenge’s curriculum, students have learned about Sustainable Development Goals, how to use micro:bits and a 3D printer, and the principles of coding. TrailheaDX is pleased to host the competition’s grand finale where students will have the chance to pitch their projects to a panel of judges. Learn more about the Future Trailblazer Challenge and Future Ready.
4. The TDX Campground is back
Your one-stop shop for all things Salesforce is something you definitely don’t want to miss. Whether it’s learning how to build and customize on the Customer Success Platform at the Customer 360 Experience, or learning more about advancing your own skills at the Trailhead Academy, there’s something for everyone. It can feel a little overwhelming when you first get to TDX, so the campground is a great place to orient yourself. Get more details about the Campground here.
5. Fireside Chat With Mae C. Jemison and Peggy Whitson
Trailblazers aren’t just found on earth — sometimes they shoot for the stars, literally. We’re honored to host two iconic trailblazers at TDX this year: Mae C. Jemison, the first African American woman in space, and record-breaking astronaut Peggy Whitson. In a fireside chat moderated by Ina Fried, these inspiring women will share their incredible stories about breaking barriers in their fields, their road to success, and their thoughts on paving the way for other women.
6. Get your networking on at Industries Connect at TDX
We have a treat for our Financial Services and Healthcare & Life Sciences customers — we’re hosting a special networking event called Industries Connect before our Trailblazer Celebration. Enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and get a chance to network with people in your industry who can share insights on creating better customer-centric experiences. Be sure to reserve your spot at the event today.
7. Party at the Trailblazer Celebration
Get ready to party like the ceiling can’t hold us. It’s a celebration just for you, Trailblazer! Head over to the Warfield Theater on Wednesday night and get ready to dance the night away to the Grammy award-winning beats of Macklemore. Remember to bring your TrailheaDX badge and ID to get in, but leave your laptops, backpacks, and selfie sticks at your hotel.
Also remember to download the Salesforce Events app to have all the latest info while on-the-go, and to build your own personal event agenda. Find the app on the App Store and Google Play. See you there!
