Amanda Page
author title Principal Product DesignerI am a Principal Product Designer on the Design Systems team at Salesforce. Before that, I worked as a Senior Product Designer at Tableau from 2011 to 2020. I focus on next-gen tooling for designers and engineers, UX metrics, design systems, accessibility, and icons across Salesforce and Tableau. I constantly explore how people use design systems, improve them, and increase transparency for stakeholders.
I solve complex challenges in visual analytics. I build practices and tools that help teams achieve consistency and quality, reduce friction and duplication of effort, and foster creativity and innovation. My next-gen and metrics solutions improve workflows and decision-making, including the design systems release management process. I led the SLDS 2 (beta) Figma library hygiene process and contributed to its GTM success. I also developed the UX user research strategy to understand how our customers are using our tools and how we can continually improve them.
Outside of work, I hold a second-degree black belt in Aikido and teach Aikido. I also ride and train horses as a hunter/jumpers. When I’m not at work, you can find me at the dojo or the barn.
