Salesforce B2B Commerce recently celebrated a huge milestone: Its one-year anniversary as part of Salesforce. B2B Commerce was born out of the acquisition of CloudCraze in April 2018. Since then, the product has seen incredible customer and partner growth. The partner ecosystem will continue to expand as we welcome new B2B Commerce partner apps and third-party integrations to the Salesforce AppExchange this summer!
Since B2B Commerce is a native Salesforce application, it can deliver rich self-service commerce applications that reflect customer-specific pricing, order management, and purchasing rules, and because it’s on the #1 CRM, customers can extend base capabilities — as they would with other Salesforce applications — to meet their specific business process needs.
As with any commerce platform, customers often integrate with a variety of third-party applications to enhance and customize their sites. This summer, several new B2B Commerce partner apps will be launched to the Salesforce AppExchange — so they will be easy for customers to find and use. The apps will help customers extend their sites in functional areas including enhanced commerce and enterprise search, product information management (PIM), procurement system/punch-out integrations, third-party marketplace pricing management, and shipping/logistics.
These apps are used by B2B Commerce customers to streamline integration with our partners’ standalone apps, which will minimize the need for one-off customized integrations. Some initial application ecosystem partners will be at Salesforce Connections in Chicago and can demo these integrations.
Visit these partners on the Connections ’19 Expo floor:
- Search: BloomReach, Coveo
- Payments: Digital River, PayPal, WorldPay
- Distributed Commerce: PunchOut2Go
- Shipping: Zenkraft
- Tax: Avalara, Vertex
- PIM: inRiver
Partner apps give B2B Commerce customers the ability to make site enhancements that are quick, easy, and cost-effective. Our investment in the B2B Commerce partner ecosystem means that it will continue to grow in the coming weeks and months. Look for additional apps to launch on the Salesforce AppExchange throughout the summer and in the lead up to Dreamforce 2019 in November.
And, if you’re attending Connections in Chicago, from June 17-19, be sure to check out the B2B Commerce Partner Ecosystem breakout session for a first look at these new apps in action.
