Who Is a Salesblazer?

For Salesblazer Piyusha Pilania — Salesforce Consulting Manager at Horizontal Digital — finding a place in the Salesforce community was a happy accident. Well, not so happy at first. “It was 2020, and I had moved back to India with a job offer in hand. But then Covid happened, and the offer was rescinded. I had to start over.”

She found a job helping companies implement Salesforce, and eventually found a home in the Salesblazer Community, a place for reps, sales leaders, and sales operations professionals like her learn new skills, connect, and grow your careers.

“While there’s a lot of information online, learning from someone’s personal experience is invaluable,” Pilania said. Just one example: She says she leaned on her community group for advice when she got stuck in the approval process on a deal. “As it turned out, someone had faced the same issue before and shared a solution that worked perfectly. That affirmed just how powerful these community groups can be.”

“The Salesblazer-led Community Groups mean so much to me,” said Pilania. She started a regional group for Salesblazers in Asia to come together and share insights. “It’s been huge for us to be able to plan our own meetings, post our own content, find our own speakers, and really find our voice.”
