COVID-19 has had a major impact on economies across the globe, and organizations have been tested on their ability to sustain business and operational continuity with the pivot to remote work. However, the silver lining of the year 2020 is the elevation of innovation fueled by digital technologies in ensuring business resiliency and, in some cases, even growth.
The study conducted by IDC, with Salesforce, surveyed 300 Canadian organizations to understand how they responded and adapted to the COVID-19 crisis. Based on responses, IDC leveraged five key attributes to create the COVID-19 Response Scale. The scale classifies Canadian organizations into three categories: Sprinters, Joggers, and Walkers.
