Inclusive hiring practices for all.

At Salesforce, we’re dedicated to hiring the most qualified talent around the world and creating a workforce that reflects our society. As part of that commitment, we welcome and value our Salesforce candidates with disabilities.

This is our commitment to you: We will create an accessible and inclusive experience for all candidates.

Removing barriers is our top priority.

You can discover a future of endless possibilities at Salesforce — and we’re here to help. We want you to feel safe and seen throughout your candidate journey.

Whether you have a permanent disability, temporary health condition, mental illness, or any other situation that requires an accommodation, we’re here to support you. It’s our goal to help remove barriers throughout the application and interview process to create a truly inclusive interviewing experience for all candidates with disabilities.

Wondering how to request accommodations at Salesforce? Candidates in consideration for any role can fill out the access request form linked below. You can expect to receive a response within two business days.

We know there can be many factors in choosing whether or not to disclose access needs throughout the process. This is a personal decision only you can make. However, any accommodations you request will not influence any hiring decisions.

Access layers promote inclusion.

You’ll have access to a number of proactive access measures throughout your hiring journey — and we’re continuously evaluating our process for enhancements. Our goal is to create an application and interview environment rooted in accessibility that reduces the need for individual disclosures and accommodations.

Examples of our current hiring access layers include:

Virtual interviews

  • Human-generated captioning and ASL interpreting services available to all candidates
  • Ability to turn the camera on/off

General interviews

  • Assurance that interviews are offered only in physically accessible locations with accessible restrooms nearby
  • Opportunities to request questions in alternate formats, such as in writing, in addition to being spoken
  • Accessible materials and formats that pair with assistive technology, such as screen readers and other adaptive technologies
  • Routine training of recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers on inclusive hiring practices
  • AIRA on-demand call-in service to support other potential access-related barriers

We’re always working to improve access and inclusion throughout the application, interview, and hiring process. We welcome your feedback.

FAQ

We will consider any requests for adjustments to the job application, interview, and hiring process so that candidates with disabilities have an equitable opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills. Any time you notice an unmet need in the process, we’re here to support you so you can show up fully during your candidate journey.

We will consider any reasonable request, but common ones may include:

  • Live captioning
  • Sign language interpretation
  • Adjusted interview timing such extra breaks or extended time
  • Modified testing

If you need an accommodation during the application or the recruiting process, please submit a request via the Candidate Accommodations Request form.

We will only share information on a need-to-know basis with those who will implement your accommodation. We will not share any specific disability or diagnostic details, only what is needed to coordinate the accommodation. Notifying your hiring team or filling out the form does not automatically self-ID you — that is a separate process you can choose to go through once you’re hired.
