Chicago, IL - Office Accessibility

Accessibility is fundamental to Salesforce culture. We make our spaces as inclusive as possible, but also know that some of our offices still have some restrictions and limitations.

We want to make sure that visitors, guests, and employees are aware of any constraints in our office spaces, as well as highlight some of the accessible provisions that can be expected when visiting us. That way, everyone is empowered to plan their visit and make their time with us easy and enjoyable.

Getting to and from the office

The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) train lines run from the Clark/Lake station (0.5 miles from the office) to O’Hare and Midway airports. Elevator access is available at all stations.

Traveling by rideshare (Uber or Lyft) or train is the best option.

Ttwo train stations and two bus stops are located within a short distance from the office.
- Merchandise Mart — brown/purple line CTA station (0.3 mi)
- Clark/Lake — blue/pink/green/brown/orange/purple line CTA station (0.5 mi)
- Orleans and Merchandise — Mart 37 bus stop (0.1 mi)
- Wacker and Orleans/Franklin — 125 bus stop (0.2 mi)

In the office

The elevators located in the main lobby reach all floors in the building.

Each restroom has accessible stalls, and push-to-open doors leading into the bathroom.

Gender-neutral bathrooms are located on the 7th, 8th, 10th-17th, and ‘Ohana Floors.
- Gender-neutral bathrooms on the 7th and 8th floors are located next to the social lounge.
- Gender-neutral bathrooms on the 10th–17th floors are located next to both the men’s and women’s bathrooms on the west side of the building.
- The ‘Ohana Floor’s gender-neutral bathrooms are located on the south end of the building.

Braille signage is available in this building.

Tactile signage is available in this building.

Sit/stand desks are located on 10th–17th floors.

Libraries are located on the 10th, 11th, and 13th–17th floors.

The reception, techforce, mail center, etc., all have counters with an accessible approach section.

Storage and cabinet handles are accessible. All kitchens also have accessible drawers with plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, and utensils.

Five parent’s rooms are located on the 7th, 11th, 14th, 17th, and 57th floors.
- For employee access, log a ticket on Concierge.

Three reflection rooms are located on the 10th, 13th, and 16th floors.
Eight mindfulness rooms are located on the 10th to 17th floors.

Snacks are located on the 7th, 8th, and 10th to 17th floors in the social lounges.

Service dogs are permitted in the building. Employees must submit a Service Animal Badge Request to Employee Success before bringing the service animal into the building. Vendors and customers do not need to go through the formal process.

Emotional Support Animals are permitted in the building. Employees must submit a Service Animal Badge Request to Employee Success before bringing the service animal into the building. Vendors and customers do not need to go through the formal process.

Customers and guests can work with their host to request disability-related accommodations prior to their visit. Employees can submit a workplace accommodations ticket prior to their visit to put accommodations in place.

Requests should be submitted at least five (5) days in advance to ensure our teams have ample time to put accommodations in place. We will do our best to accommodate last-minute requests but cannot guarantee a quick turnaround.
