Francesco Trapani is the Executive Chairman & Controlling Shareholder of VAM Investments Group SpA, a private equity firm, and the Executive Vice Chairman & Partner at Tages SpA. Previously, Francesco was CEO of Bulgari where, between 1984 and 2011, he turned the company into one of the most successful luxury jewelry brands worldwide. In 2001, he managed the Bulgari joint venture with Marriott International to open branded Bulgari Hotels and Resorts, and in 2011 he oversaw the sale of Bulgari to LVMH. He was Chairman & CEO of LVMH (Watches and Jewelry Division) between 2011 and 2014 and a member of the board until 2016. Between 2017 and 2019, he was a board member and shareholder of Tiffany & Co.
