At Salesforce, we believe in building a workforce that better represents society — not just internally, but through our partners and customers. This includes partnering with governments, public sector organizations, and nonprofits to promote inclusive economic opportunities through careers in the technology sector, educate constituents on opportunities for skills development, and ensure programs are accessible to a diverse workforce. Business leaders have an opportunity to make their workforces stronger and their companies more resilient by investing in training. The shift brought on by AI will alter the demand for specific skills and give rise to new job opportunities not currently present in the workforce. By automating certain tasks, AI can increase productivity and enable people to concentrate on work that demands creativity, problem-solving, and emotional intelligence.
In 2014, Salesforce launched its free online learning platform, Trailhead, empowering anyone to learn in-demand skills, from anywhere. Our free, gamified, and self-paced learning platform gives learners access to over 1,500 badges of marketable skills on desktop and mobile. Trailhead can help anyone from seasoned tech veterans to those just getting started in the industry to learn AI skills at their own pace. Courses cover AI basics, generative AI, the fundamentals of natural language processing, and more.
We are also proud to announce the launch of Trailcast, our new audio-based learning that allows learners to listen to Trailhead modules, enhancing the learning experience and bringing more flexibility to where and when you can learn — and greater accessibility for all. To connect to opportunities, anyone can join the free Trailblazer Community, a global network of millions of people who help each other along the journey of learning and succeeding with Salesforce. In 2020, we launched the Salesforce Talent Alliance, now a network of 1,000+ Salesforce organizational partners from 50+ countries who have committed to working with us to grow and diversify the Salesforce ecosystem.
