Event Information

Dreamforce is an annual event that brings together the global Salesforce Community for learning, connection, fun, and giving back. It’s an experience that celebrates Trailblazers and customer success. Dreamforce is where Trailblazers from all over the world gather to share their stories of success and learn from each other. It’s one epic family reunion.

Established in 2003, Dreamforce has grown into far more than just a conference — it’s an experience unlike any other. From inspiring keynotes and sessions to visionary thinking and the future of business — to actually changing the world — it’s an empowering and inspirational gathering.

This epic event features 1,200+ keynotes, sessions, workshops and demos featuring innovative product launches, world leaders, product experts, AI visionaries, and more.

Dreamforce takes place in San Francisco, CA at Moscone Center on September 17–19, 2024. Plus, we’ll also have an exclusive free broadcast experience on Salesforce+.

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend, whether new to Salesforce or a long-time product user. Previous years have attracted attendees from all over the world, across every industry and every line of business. 

We host many other events throughout the year, including TrailblazerDX, which is geared toward Salesforce administrators, developers, and architects, and Connections, which attracts marketing, customer service, and commerce professionals. Tableau Conference brings together data analysts and business leaders who are changing their business with the help of data. Dreamforce is the largest of them all, and it’s the gathering place for all Trailblazers, everywhere. Whether you’re a company of five or a Fortune 500, there’s something to take away from Dreamforce.

We will be streaming the best of Dreamforce on Salesforce+ from September 17–19, 2024. While there will be some live broadcast-only moments, many of the can’t-miss sessions will be available on demand between 24–72 business hours after the event. We will also have a selection of top breakout and theater sessions from the in-person San Francisco experience available on demand. For the full experience, join us in San Francisco.

Salesforce+ is a streaming service that gives you a front-row seat to select Dreamforce episodes and unlimited access to Salesforce’s original series. Catch luminary speakers, customer success stories, and groundbreaking innovation from anywhere. Membership is free, easy, and available to everyone.

Registration

To register for the in-person experience at Dreamforce, click the Register button on the top right of this page. You will need to create an account to register. This account will give you access to your registration details, recommended sessions, Agenda Builder, and so much more.

If you created an account for a previous Salesforce event, use that same email and password in the login box. If needed, click Forgot Password to trigger a reset.

From there, you’ll provide a few additional details, select your hotel and conference pass, and then you’re on your way to experience Dreamforce in San Francisco, CA.

The Conference pass is valid September 17–19, 2024. It includes access to all keynotes, breakouts and theater sessions, hands-on workshops, roundtable discussions, AI Associate and Data Cloud Consultant certification exams onsite (Limited seating. First come, first seated), networking with your community, the Welcome Reception, and Dreamfest. It also includes daily refreshments and lunch.

All transfer and cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the Salesforce
Events Help Desk at DreamforceRegistration@salesforce.com. For a full refund of the Event
registration fees, cancellation notices must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. PT on Friday, August 16,
2024. Cancellation notices received between 12:00 a.m. PT on Saturday, August 17, 2024, and
11:59:59 p.m. PT on Friday, August 30, 2024, will be processed at 50% of the Event registration fees.
No refunds will be processed for cancellation notices received after 12:00 a.m. PT on Saturday, August
31, 2024. 

Full cancellation/substitution terms may be found in the Events Terms of Service.

Accepted payment methods include: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, or Debit cards with a major credit card logo.

Substitution requests will be processed free of charge if submitted by 11:59:59 p.m. PT on
Friday, August 30, 2024. Substitution requests after this date are subject to a USD$100 transaction
fee. These cancellation terms also apply to the registration fees for all classes and events offered as
part of Dreamforce 2024.

Session Information

Main Keynote: Join us to discover the latest product innovations and major announcements from Salesforce! Experience live demos, listen to luminary speakers, and be inspired by captivating stories of customer success.

Keynotes: Experience the latest product innovations and trailblazing announcements from Salesforce with live demos, luminaries, and stories of customer success for a specific buyer, industry or topic.

Breakouts: Attend our dynamic 45-minute presentation focusing on a specific product or solution, followed by a Q&A session. For a more thorough exploration of technical aspects, join our 75-minute Deep Dive breakout sessions.

Theaters: Experience a concise and informative 20-minute session introducing a specific topic. Whether it's tips and tricks or a how-to presentation, you'll get the essentials in a quick, and engaging manner.

Interactive Session Types
Roundtables: Gatherings of like-minded attendees to discuss a particular topic. Opportunity to network and share best practices and common challenges facing the Salesforce community. Moderated by expert at each table.

Hands-on Trainings: Facilitated by a Salesforce Expert, 60-90 minute workshops that include guided exercises with hands-on practice in a Salesforce org. Product experts are standing by to help; computers provided.

Workshops: Participate in an expert-led 60 min interactive sessions to learn a product or skill. Computers may be provided or bring-your-own-device or specified to bring your own. (clarified in abstract).

Certification Exam: A Salesforce certification is a globally recognized credential that grow your resume, highlight your skills and prove your hands-on experience with Salesforce. Computers provided.

Campfire: Immerse yourself in community-led sessions, focusing on niche topics with smaller groups. Engage in post-session Q&A for deeper insights through stand-and-deliver interactions.

You can see all the sessions taking place in person at Dreamforce on our Sessions page. From there you can filter by role, industry, product, and more. All sessions will be launching in July.

Session owners are encouraged to share their presentations after the conference. Registered attendees can visit the Sessions page the week after the conference to find shared presentations. Limited episodes will be available on demand on Salesforce+.

Agenda Builder allows registered attendees to view sessions by date and time to help plan out your time at Dreamforce. Attendees can add a session to your agenda and favorite sessions that you are interested in. Please note: Most sessions will be first come, first seated. Agenda Builder will launch in August.

Accommodations

Yes, Salesforce has reserved hotel blocks in and around San Francisco, CA. You will have the opportunity to book your room during registration within the hotel section. Inventory is limited, available on a first-come, first-booked basis, and our discounted rates are only available until Friday, August 23, 2024.

You can make online hotel bookings for Dreamforce during the registration process. If you wish to add a hotel at a later date or update your existing reservation information, log in with the email and password used during registration.

If you reserve a room via the Dreamforce registration process, cancellations must be made according to the hotel’s cancellation policy. Failure to do so will incur a penalty equal to the cost of one night’s room and tax. Please check the Dreamforce Official Hotel List for your hotel’s specific cancellation policy. 

Note: All hotels will charge a deposit to the credit card on file before arrival, which will be refunded if you cancel within the specified time.

Yes, you may. Before Friday, August 23, 2024, contact the Dreamforce Help Desk to make the transfer.

Beginning Tuesday, September 3, 2024, please contact the hotel directly to update the name and credit card on file for the reservation.

No. All attendees must register and book their own hotel reservations.

If you don’t check in to your hotel on your scheduled arrival date, the hotel will cancel your entire reservation. The hotel can choose not to reinstate your reservation, even if you arrive the next day. You will also be charged a penalty equal to the cost of one night’s room and tax, regardless of whether or not the hotel chooses to reinstate your reservation.

No. All hotel reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card at the time of booking.

Yes. All hotels require a one-night deposit as a guarantee. The credit card used to make your hotel reservation will be charged the equivalent of one night’s room plus tax after the hotel cutoff date. Please check the Dreamforce Official Hotel List for details.

Yes, as long as you are the cardholder for the credit card you present at check-in.

If the card used as a guarantee for your hotel reservation is not in your name, that cardholder must be present at check-in. A credit card authorization form can also be set up with the hotel before your arrival. Please contact the hotel directly to obtain a credit card authorization form using the contact information found here.

No. To obtain the discounted Dreamforce rates, new reservations and changes must be made through the Dreamforce Help Desk or My Info page. After September 3, 2024, any changes to your existing reservation can be made directly with the hotel.

If your check-in or checkout date is not available when searching for your accommodations, please book the available dates that you see at your hotel of choice. Once you have completed a reservation, please contact the Dreamforce Help Desk to request adjusted dates.

Hotel room inventory at Dreamforce is limited and will sell out quickly. While availability at your first-choice hotel may not be available, please consider the many other hotel options provided.

Travel

For information on things to do during your stay in San Francisco, check out the San Francisco Travel website.

Temperatures average between 55 degrees F and 70 degrees F (13–21 degrees C) in September in San Francisco. Please pack layers and check weather.com before you travel.

San Francisco International Airport (SFO) is the closest major airport, an easy BART ride or a 25-minute drive from downtown. Alternatively, the Oakland International Airport (OAK) is a 35-minute drive over the Bay Bridge and is also accessible by BART. Lastly, the San Jose International Airport (SJC) is a one-hour drive from the South Bay, accessible by Caltrain.

You can request an invitation letter to accompany your visa application to attend Dreamforce during the registration process. Your registration must be paid in full before your letter of invitation can be issued.

Please note that requesting a visa invitation letter does not guarantee that your local authorities will grant a visa to attend the event. Additionally, you are responsible for submitting your visa application to your local embassy/consulate; conference management will not submit it on your behalf. All requests are subject to review and approval. Please allow up to 10 business days for requests to be reviewed.

Accessibility

Dreamforce represents our grand family gathering sprawling across numerous streets and buildings. It’s important to us to be completely open about the potential challenges for individuals with disabilities or medical needs due to the distance between venues and sessions, as well as the possibility of extensive walking or navigating through crowds.

For individuals with disabilities and/or medical conditions, whether they are recovering from injuries, illnesses, or surgeries, we are dedicated to ensuring your experience is as comfortable and accessible as possible. Please specify any accommodations you may require on the registration form, and a member of our team will personally reach out to gather more details and ensure we can accommodate your needs. We ask that you provide accommodation requests at least two weeks in advance.

MOBILITY:
- All buildings are fully accessible, including entries, seating, stages, low-friction turf, and low-height surfaces.
- Every restroom in Moscone Center has an accessible stall, with at least one restroom on every level. Signage helps with wayfinding, and ambassadors can assist in locating the nearest restroom.
- Motorized scooters are available at the Disability Help Desk on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees can check out a scooter for the day with a government ID and by signing a liability waiver. Scooters must be returned at the end of the day and may not be taken offsite. For off-hours, we recommend reserving a motorized scooter through Scootaround.
- Mobility device charging stations are available in Dreamforest, and outlets are accessible throughout the venue for recharging mobility devices.

DEAF/HEARING LOSS:
- English captions will be provided on screens for all keynote and breakout sessions.
- ASL interpreters will be provided for the Broadcast Theater and upon request. Requests for sign language interpreters must be made by September 3, 2024, through the registration form.

BLIND/LOW VISION:
- Sighted escorts can be arranged through the Disability Help Desk to assist with venue navigation. To facilitate arrangements, please indicate your request for a sighted guide in the registration form.
- Dreamforce attendees who are blind or have low vision can download the free Aira app to their smartphone. This app connects users to highly trained remote agents for assistance with visual surroundings. LINK: https://aira.io

NEURODIVERGENT:
- A quiet space, designed to alleviate sensory overload and offer relaxation, will be available this year. Dedicated ambassadors will oversee this tech-free zone to ensure a peaceful environment. Details on the quiet room can be found in the Salesforce Event app under the Accessibility tab.
- The event app offers an interactive map to provide clear directions to key locations.
- Guided tours can be requested at the Disability Help Desk in Moscone West to provide clear guidance on key locations.

SHUTTLE AND TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION:
- We offer accessible shuttle transportation for individuals with disabilities and/or medical conditions without any prerequisites. Refer to shuttle information for details on requesting transportation to and from your hotel and Dreamfest.

BREASTFEEDING INFORMATION:
- A dedicated Parent’s Room providing a private space to pump will be available. Refer to the Salesforce Events app for finalized details on the location, listed under the Accessibility tab.
- The Salesforce Events mobile app is available on the App Store and Google Play (login required).
- Due to liability restrictions, refrigeration for breast milk is not provided.

SERVICE ANIMALS:
- Service animals are welcome throughout the campus. While indoor facilities are not available, service animals can relieve themselves around the Yerba Buena Gardens or outside Dreamforce venues.

DIETARY ALLERGIES:
- All meals will include a variety of salads, bowls, and sandwiches with vegetarian/vegan and chicken/turkey options.
- Vegetarian/vegan offerings with gluten-free (GF),* dairy-free (DF), and nut-free (NF) options are available. * Please note that while GF items are available, the kitchen is not certified gluten-free.
- Food vendors label ingredients, but feel free to ask a server if you have any uncertainties.

Yes. Dreamforce is located at the Moscone Convention Center, and there is a designated drop-off and pickup area that has ramped curbs and automatic entry doors. Moscone Center has accessible sidewalk ramps and elevators. All meeting rooms, theaters, and bathrooms are accessible by wheelchair.

There will be power outlets throughout the campus. Feel free to charge wherever and when needed.

Yes. Priority seating will be available in our keynote and breakout rooms. You can request this service when registering for the event by indicating you have accessibility requirements.

If you require reserved seating in the larger keynotes, please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the keynote begins. Please find a staffer with a handheld “Accessible Seating” sign who will direct you to your seat.

ASL interpreters can be requested in advance on the conference registration form. Select “yes” under accessibility accommodations and specify your request. Requests must be submitted by September 3, 2024. We will do our best to accommodate requests on short notice.

Yes. We welcome you and your service animal throughout the campus. Owners must take full responsibility for their animals. Animals can relieve themselves outside anywhere around the venue. The owner is responsible for cleaning up after the animal and disposing of waste properly.

We will have accessible-height counters at Registration. There will be signs directing you through the line to the necessary desk. Please connect with a staffer if you have any questions.

Bootcamp

Trailblazer Bootcamp is the place to build Salesforce expertise and accelerate your path to certification. Experience three full days of expert-led learning, network with other Trailblazers, and uplevel your career. Included in the Bootcamp pass is one certification exam voucher code for use on a certification exam on the last day of Bootcamp or to save and use after the event.

Trailblazer Bootcamp takes place before Dreamforce from September 14–16, 2024, at the Salesforce offices in downtown San Francisco, CA with registration at Salesforce West.

Each track aligns to a specific role. Take a look at the detailed descriptions of our Bootcamp tracks to see which suits you best. If you still have questions, you can post them in the Trailblazer Bootcamp at Dreamforce Community Group.

You cannot purchase a Bootcamp-only pass.

Yes. To ensure the best learning experience possible, we’ve identified some prework for you to complete before you arrive at Trailblazer Bootcamp. Navigate to your track here and click on the prework link for your track.

There will be one optional onsite certification exam opportunity at Trailblazer Bootcamp. The exam will take place on Tuesday, September 16, after classes end for the day. Registration for the exam will open once Bootcamp starts, and each attendee will receive an email with an exam registration code and instructions on how to schedule their exam.

If attendees choose to opt out of taking the exam onsite, they will be able to use the same certification exam registration code they received via email during Bootcamp. This code will be valid until December 31, 2024. For information on registration and computer setup, please visit the Guide to Trailblazer Bootcamp.

No, computers are not provided at Trailblazer Bootcamp. Attendees will need to bring their own computer with the ability to access an internet browser.
