An Update on Gender Pay in Ireland

Salesforce has published findings of its 2023 Ireland Gender Pay Report, which measures the difference in the average hourly wage of men and women across its Ireland-based workforce. Salesforce Ireland has 37% female representation overall and 41% of new hires are women.

Salesforce continues to invest in new programs and strategic initiatives, including:

  • Launching the first dedicated Ireland Equality Strategy, led by a cross-functional business team, to focus on four key pillars of work:
    • Women's advancement and retention from Director level and above to understand and address the main challenges facing progression to more senior positions.
    • Equality Onboarding Program to help new employees understand the Equality strategy and the different ways to get involved.
    • Equality Communication Strategy to ensure equality principles are included in leadership updates and all company events.
    • Greater operational structures to further support nine employee-led Equality groups.
  • Investing in a dedicated Women in Leadership Advancement Program in partnership with the Salesforce Office of Equality, focused on building leadership skills, networking, and coaching to advance and develop female careers.

Equality is a core value at Salesforce, and one of the most powerful examples of this is the ongoing commitment to equal pay and pay fairness. In 2015, Salesforce was one of the first companies to evaluate whether there were any gaps in pay among its global workforce, and continues to evaluate pay — including bonuses and stock — on an ongoing basis.
