California’s new laws will require U.S. companies to report on greenhouse gas emissions and climate-related financial risks. Join Salesforce for a webinar with industry experts to hear how you can prepare now.
California recently became the first state in the U.S. to adopt laws requiring companies to report on their greenhouse gas emissions and climate-related financial risks. California Senate Bills (SB) 253 and 261 apply to public and private companies doing business in California above a certain revenue threshold, and include assurance requirements and penalties for compliance violations.
These laws require immediate, cross-functional action to understand the implications for your organization and prepare to be compliant. A holistic source of information with reliable data is necessary for organizations to be able to efficiently report on greenhouse gas emissions and meet assurance and disclosure requirements.
This webinar is an opportunity to:
- Hear from industry experts on who will be impacted and what is required.
- Gain insight into the steps companies can take to prepare for the new laws.
- Understand how technology can support the need for accurate and auditable greenhouse gas data, including supply chain emissions.
