Hari comes to Appirio/Wipro with 20+ experience in Services Industry, with 17+ years spent in markets driving Sales, Channel and Business growth and 3+ years in driving Global Delivery from India. Hari’s core expertise is around ~ Business Turnaround, Incubation, Scale and M&A in CRM, Business Process Management and Integration areas.
Most recently, he was heading Salesforce Practice for Cognizant in North America region, where the practice has doubled in Revenue, in 2 years, becoming the fastest consulting services provider to achieve GSI status and also moved into Leaders Quadrant in leading analyst surveys for Salesforce services.
Prior that, he was heading the Global Delivery for Integration & Business Process Management Practice at Cognizant, managing a business of half a billion dollars, growing in double digits. Earlier, he headed Cognizant’s CRM Practice to drive it from high teens to $200 Million Run Rate in 5 years, incubating Contact Center, Marketing and Sales Performance Management practices and also driving the practice to Leaders in Gartner Magic Quadrant for the first time.
Hari started his career in Citicorp as Business Analyst, moved into management consulting with Pricewaterhouse Coopers focusing on Financial Services. He later joined a boutique startup in Silicon Valley providing CRM Consulting and Implementation services, which was acquired by Cognizant, laying the foundation for Cognizant’s CRM practice.
Hari is a MBA Graduate from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, specializing in Finance & Systems. He will be spending time between India and Markets to ensure we get back to Industry leading growth rates for Appirio business.
Hari is married with 2 kids (12 & 9) and enjoys his spare time following cricket, movies and reading books.
