Salesforce’s Trailblazing Women’s Summit Aims to Inspire India’s Next Generation of Leaders
Last week Salesforce hosted its second Trailblazing Women in India equality summit to elevate and inspire the next generation of women leaders and male allies. More than 350 women attended in-person and over 3,000 registered for the virtual live streaming.
This year’s summit, with the theme of ‘Igniting Innovation’, brought together Salesforce and business leaders from access India, including from Tata Bisleri International, Marico, and Pernod Ricard India.
Arundhati Bhattacharya, CEO & Chairperson of Salesforce India, opened the summit and led several panel discussions around the critical role transformational technologies and innovation can have in advancing women’s careers.
At Salesforce, equality is a core principle that demands a tailored approach rather than a one-size-fits-all solution.

Step out of your comfort zone: “My advice to young and aspiring women leaders is to step out of your comfort zone, be authentic, and resilient, and, most importantly, seek out strong mentorship. Real equality means supporting men and women: “Real equality means recognising and supporting both men and women.” – Award-winning actress Shefali Shah. Shefali shared her experience of overcoming challenges to and championing equality, and in inspiring audiences to actively contribute to a more inclusive society.
