As organizations evolve to keep pace with customer demand, the need for skilled digital talent is spiking. In line with this projected growth, IDC estimates that the demand for Salesforce talent will grow to 9.3 million new jobs by 2026.
Today, Salesforce announced it will deepen its focus on workforce development with plans to introduce new innovations to the Trailblazer.me Profile and a multi-year commitment to help prepare 20,000 new Trailblazers for jobs in the Salesforce ecosystem by 2028.
Hire Me button will facilitate hiring, help grow the Salesforce ecosystem
Salesforce created the Trailblazer.me Profile – the trusted Salesforce resume – in 2019 to give current and future employers a unified view of an individual’s proven hands-on skills, credentials, and continuous learning with Salesforce. The Trailblazer.me Profile is connected to Trailhead, Salesforce’s free online learning platform, which has empowered more than 4.5 million people to skill up for jobs in the Salesforce Ecosystem.
Salesforce’s new Hire Me button will help simplify how Trailblazers hire and get hired in the Salesforce Ecosystem. Individuals will be able to indicate interest in new work opportunities on their Trailblazer.me Profile, while hiring managers will be able to simply click on the Hire Me button to message and connect with potential job candidates. It’s the quick, easy, and straightforward way to discover and connect with Salesforce experts.
“As the demand for Salesforce skills skyrockets, it’s our mission to help empower anyone to build a career within the Salesforce ecosystem,” said Ann Weeby, Salesforce’s new SVP of Trailhead. “The introduction of the Hire Me button will empower Trailblazers to identify as job seekers and to connect with organizations that need their expertise, and to make it easier for hiring managers to connect with potential job candidates.”
“The Salesforce Ecosystem has given me the opportunity to reinvent not only my career, but also my life. After losing my job during the pandemic, I was able to learn new skills with Salesforce and land a stable job in tech,” said Tony Nguyen, Salesforce Consultant at Slalom. “The Hire Me button will only catapult this transformation for others like me in need of a new path.”

Deepening Salesforce’s commitment to workforce development
As part of Salesforce’s longstanding mission to democratize education, the company also announced the Trailblazer Workforce Partner Program to help prepare 20,000 new Trailblazers for jobs in the Salesforce Ecosystem by 2028.
The Workforce Partner Program will enable more than 500 non-profit, higher education, and workforce development organizations to teach Salesforce skills – breaking down barriers to entry in the technology industry. The program brings this to life by providing exclusive access to Salesforce curriculum and content, a collaborative community of workforce partners and employers, and marketing support to scale their programming.
Salesforce also helps individuals connect with job opportunities across its ecosystem of partners and customers through the Salesforce Talent Alliance. To date, the Talent Alliance includes more than 1,000 employers committed to hiring from a diverse pool of new Salesforce talent. Additionally, Salesforce invests in workforce development workshops to help partners and customers upskill their employees and accelerate their digital transformations.
“Salesforce is committed to preparing the next generation of Trailblazers for in-demand career opportunities,” said Leah McGowen-Hare, SVP of Trailblazer Community at Salesforce. “With the Trailblazer Workforce Partner Program, we’re thrilled to extend the reach of our workforce partners who are opening new doors to the tech industry. We encourage companies everywhere to invest in a diverse workforce by hiring talent from these programs.”

Salesforce also continues to grow its Pathfinder Training Program, which provides free, immersive Salesforce training to help people launch careers in technology. Today Salesforce announced that this year, 25 Salesforce partners and customers will be a part of the employer partner program — with 15 joining for the first time. Each has committed to hiring Pathfinder graduates.
“NeuraFlash is excited to partner with the Pathfinder Training Program,” said Jim Hunt, COO at NeuraFlash. “Not only is this program a fantastic career enabler for the individuals that participate, but it also produces talent that has a proven focus and drive to succeed in consulting. An absolute win-win for all involved.”
