Salesforce’s Marc Benioff Discusses Q2 FY22 Results with Jim Cramer on CNBC’s Mad Money

Salesforce Chair and CEO Marc Benioff joined Jim Cramer on CNBC’s “Mad Money” following Wednesday’s release of Q2 Fiscal Year 2022 results. The two discussed the company’s strong quarter, growth and solid margins, and Slack’s future with Salesforce.

Benioff shared the vision for how Slack will provide the new user interface for Salesforce’s products. “As we’ve moved to ‘success from anywhere,’ Slack has become more important than any time before,” he said. “And now — integrating with Salesforce — this is really the best of both worlds.”

He also discussed Salesforce’s revenue growth, cash flow improvement and margins. “We’re more focused on our margins than ever,” he said. “We delivered outstanding margin performance this quarter, and three out of the last five quarters, we’ve delivered more than 20% margin.”

Salesforce announced Q2 FY22 revenue of $6.34 billion, up 23% year-over-year (21% in constant currency), and raised its FY22 revenue guidance to $26.2 billion to $26.3 billion. The company trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol CRM.
