For the fourth year in a row, Salesforce has risen up the ranks of the Fortune 500—the established list of the largest corporations in the United States by revenue. This year, Salesforce reached #285, up from #326 in 2017. Since entering the Fortune 500 in 2015, we’ve moved up nearly 200 positions in the rankings.
Our significant move up the list is a testament to the growing importance of CRM and the power of our Intelligent Customer Success Platform. Every company across every industry and geography is now compelled to reconsider their traditional ways of doing business to keep pace with rapidly changing technology and consumer expectations. And, they are increasingly turning to Salesforce to accelerate their digital transformations, gain a single view of the customer and deliver smarter, more connected customer experiences across every touchpoint.
Our rising rank within the Fortune 500 is proof that our investments on behalf of our customers are paying off. We’re also honored to have been recognized recently by Fortune as the World’s #1 Best Workplace and as the 15th Most Admired Company in the world. Congratulations to the more than 30,000 employees across 25 countries who are earning the trust of our customers, partners and communities every day.
