Salesforce Receives Highest Score for Augmented Analytics Use Case in Gartner’s Critical Capabilities Report

Salesforce is proud to announce that Gartner, Inc., the leading provider of research and analysis on the global information technology industry, has given it the highest score in the Augmented Analytics use case, scoring 3.88 out of 5 according to its recent report on Critical Capabilities for Analytics and Business Intelligence Platforms.

According to the Methodology section of Gartner’s report, "in defining the product/service category for evaluation, the analyst first identifies the leading uses for the products/services in this market. What needs are end-users looking to fulfill, when considering products/services in this market? Use cases should match common client deployment scenarios. These distinct client scenarios define the use cases.”

Gartner’s research also finds that “by 2020, augmented analytics will be a dominant driver of new purchases of analytics and business intelligence, data science and machine learning platforms, and embedded analytics.”*

“Einstein Analytics Plus comes with AI built in; empowering our customers with automated insights on what’s happening and why in their business, as well as what will happen (predictive) and what actions to take,” said Ketan Karkhanis, SVP and GM of Salesforce Einstein Analytics. “We are proud to have secured Gartner’s highest Product Score in Augmented Analytics and very grateful to thousands of Analytics Trailblazers who are driving better business outcomes with Einstein Analytics.”

The Critical Capabilities research is focused on product functionality and complements the 2019 “Magic Quadrant for Analytics and Business Intelligence Platforms,” in which Salesforce received the highest placement in the Visionary quadrant.
