Welcome to
Salesforce today.
World Tour Boston
in the house.
NBA champs outside,
CRM champs inside.
Now, here's the headline.
Salesforce innovations
powered by data and AI
can help organizations
tackle any challenge.
Get this-- 94% of
business leaders
say they should be
getting more value
from their data, according
to Salesforce research.
Today, you're
going to learn
how to get more value
out of that data
and use it to create
better customer
experiences, boost
productivity and increase
Now, from building
a Customer
360 that unifies apps,
data and metadata
from across your
business to build
a single source of truth
to Salesforce's trusted,
secure AI capabilities
powered by the Einstein 1
Platform to unlocking
trapped data
with Data Cloud, we've got
plenty to discuss today.
I am Kerry Chao, joined
by senior customer
and product evangelist
Carolyn Bathauer.
First of all, Slack
CEO Denise Dresser--
Yeah, and
Celtics super fan
wearing the retro
Kevin Garnett uni.
I love it, celebrating,
setting the tone, right?
Yes, the city is
electric and that keynote
And it is for us, not
for the NBA championship.
Big announcement
alert-- say
hello to Life
Science Cloud
built on the
Einstein 1 Platform.
Life Sciences Cloud
is an AI powered end
to end solution that can
help get life enhancing
treatments into the
hands of patients faster.
That clearly
sounds amazing.
But Carolyn, what are
we talking about when we
say end to end solutions?
and when you're
looking especially
in the life
sciences industry,
You mentioned getting
life enhancing treatments
into the hands of
patients faster.
So these complex
organizations
with oftentimes
complicated regulations,
they need to be able
to understand what is
happening at every stage.
Where are the
areas that we
can automate to
get through each
of those stages
accurately and fast
in order to really make
a difference in getting
As you mentioned, a truly
complicated industry
with so many different
types of information.
And so important
to bring together.
How does having that 360
degree view of patients
and customers change the
way pharmaceutical and med
device companies operate?
Yeah, so when you look
at putting the patient
at the center
and having all
of the different
spokes and all
of the different
interactions,
you really start to think
about what types of data
So having that
patient at the center
allows for anybody
who's interacting
to have the most
accurate information.
So whether it is assigning
them to the right trial
or making sure that
they are connecting
with the right offers and
the right prescriptions,
it's all in one place
and a modern UI,
which is absolutely
game changing
Incredible, and we've
talked about this before.
Like, when it comes
to health care,
we're all patients
and customers.
Earlier in the keynote,
we heard from Slack CEO
Denise Dresser that the
first of many innovations
for Life Sciences Cloud
are generally available
And that's why today, I'm
really excited because we
continue to innovate,
and we are going GA
with our Life
Sciences Cloud, which
And what Life
Sciences Cloud
is going to help us
do is help patients
to be to reach, enroll,
on-board, and communicate
And it's going to help
pharma and medical
professionals
to drive more
personalized
relationships through
the clinical
development all the way
We're just getting started
with Life Sciences Cloud,
but you can come back
here at 3 o'clock,
and you'll hear the
keynote to learn more
And we'll hear plenty more
about Life Sciences Cloud
throughout the day
on Salesforce Plus.
But it's not the only
big announcement today.
Slack, it seems, keeps
churning out innovations
its Olympic season, right?
Whomever you want to say.
But from Slack Summaries
to Slack Lists,
like, what do people
need to know about Slack?
So I saw someone say
something like, Slack just
seems like an unfair
advantage for Salesforce
And the way
they're innovating
is absolutely
just incredible
So think about this as
like the Summer of Slack.
So when you think about
Slack and vacations
and summer, you
think about all
of the wonderful things
that you get to experience
and then coming back
and trying to figure out
And Slack summary
is changing the way
people are interacting
and prioritizing
their work, which
is super important.
And another announcement
in the last few weeks
for Slack is the
launch of Slack Lists.
It's turning conversations
into actionable tasks that
help drive
project forward.
So let's take
a look at that.
But work is getting even
more powerful in Slack.
Two weeks ago, we
released Slack Lists.
Slack Lists
is, simply put,
the way that you take
conversations and move
them into work, how you
create lists, tasks,
and projects right
where you're working,
which is so important so
everybody can collaborate
on the work that is
happening in real time.
You just heard
Denise say it.
Slack List brings
project management
right into Slack with
the same ease and speed
Carolyn, we had
a conversation
before the show
about how--
I don't want to call it
groundbreaking, but how
helpful having
conversations,
brainstorms, turned into
tasks in a project plan,
just how valuable
that can be.
Yeah, you know,
as long as we've
had employers
and employees,
we've had conversations
specifically
And I think that's
where Slack really
changes the way
interactions become
So, you know, we work
across multiple different
teams in order to bring
something like broadcast
And so being able to have
those conversations then
turn into tasks and
workflows is incredible.
So having, you
know, project
plans that have context
and then imagine even,
you know, having
a conversation
around your customer
and pulling that CRM
data into that program
plan, it's incredible.
So helpful and so
practical immediately.
Like, we talked about the
to-do list that, you know,
because I'm so I'm
analog sometimes, right?
And I have these
to do lists
and to put them
into Slack lists
and then to collaborate
so quickly is truly huge.
Slack continues to make
work more efficient.
Users can save an
average of 97 minutes
a week with
Slack AI alone.
And speaking of AI, we
heard the five steps
to becoming an
AI enterprise
as Carlos Lozano, product
management director,
walked us through how
to equip AI to act.
When you give
AI new skills,
AI can do much
more than just
provide an
information, than just
You can also equip
AI to take action.
This will unlock
the next levels
of productivity and
scale for any enterprise,
Think about this
one for a second.
We lose 41% of our day
to repetitive work,
That's more than
three hours a day.
And that's what we
can actually help you
Now, we all know that
LLMs can generate content.
We're all
familiar to that.
The beauty of
Einstein Copilot
is that we use
LLMs to understand
We use LLM to create
an action plan,
and we use LLMs to
take action for you
with Einstein Copilot on
those repetitive tasks
so that you can focus
on high value customer
I want to repeat what
Carlos just said there,
because we lose 41%
of our time each day
to repetitive tasks, more
than three hours per day
spent on tasks
like looking
for information to
similar-looking issues,
I know I'm guilty of,
like, I feel like some
of those repetitive
tasks always
Carrie, get it
together, man.
Carolyn, how do we
get all that time back
Yeah, so it's all because
of Einstein Copilot
now takes action
for you, and it
starts with the
Einstein 1 Studio.
And only Salesforce can do
this from Prompt Builder
to Model Builder and
Copilot Builder been
So think about the prompt.
You're generating
accurate AI responses
that are grounded in
your business data.
And from the
models, you take
advantage of
existing models,
or you can bring your own.
And then Copilot keeps
getting better and better,
and now you can even build
your own applications.
And this is all
made possible
It's that combination
of that functionality
A true differentiator
for Salesforce.
You know, I know you talk
a lot with customers.
What is it about AI that
is exciting, and yet where
are they kind of
hesitant towards adopting
So the exciting
part is all
about the automation of
those repetitive tasks.
And I think some of the
things that customers are
hesitant about is because
you think about the LLM
models, and
they access all
of this public
information.
But the way Einstein
works is it's
grounded in your
business data,
and it's trusted
and secure.
And the answer to both
of these questions
is just the possibilities
of everything.
And so my advice
is twofold focus.
First on security and
selecting a partner that
And hint, Salesforce
is-- our number one value
So we embed it in
everything we do.
And the second thing
is get hands on.
Questions and concerns are
most often best answered
through that experience,
and you can join us
for free, intensive
full day workshops
to get hands on with Data
Cloud, Einstein Copilot,
And you can learn directly
from Salesforce engineers
and developers to answer
all of your questions
and leave with the
skills that you need
to build the
next generation
of generative
AI applications
on that Einstein
1 Platform.
And so you can see a
list of all the cities

Yeah, kind of to reiterate
the stats you just
mentioned, according
to recent Salesforce
research, 75% of
those who don't trust
the data that
trains AI also
believe that AI lacks
the information needed
to be useful,
and that's where
that trust
layer becomes so
And we know that great AI
starts with great data,
but with data cloud,
what we really care
Putting all the data
in one place, making it
Carolyn, real
quickly, like,
what happens once our
customers have the data
So you provide
amazing experiences
It helps you
service better,
and it helps you market
smarter just because it's
all in and harmonized from
all of your different data
It can be activated
within your CRM.
You can take actions
within Slack.
You can pretty much
do all of the things
Carolyn Bathauer,
rockstar as always.
Thank you so much
for the insights.
