As the world's largest equipment rental provider, United Rentals employs a huge sales team that is always on the go, scoping new projects and visiting customer sites. While salespeople had access to a wealth of information about upcoming construction projects and prospective customers, they were often bogged down by manual data entry and siloed information, leading to missed opportunities. The company needed a more efficient solution to improve the experience for salespeople and boost sales productivity.
