Tableau Data Explorer Reveals Insights from 2024 World Economic Forum (WEF) Travel & Tourism Report

The 2024 Travel & Tourism Development Index (TTDI), released by the World Economic Forum (WEF) in collaboration with the University of Surrey, marks a critical year for the travel and tourism industry. It is a major leap forward in understanding the industry's path toward recovery and resilience. While we move beyond pandemic-related challenges, TTDI emerges as a resource like no other to help us move into a future that is sustainable and resilient. This year's index has some very interesting data visualizations done in partnership with Salesforce using Tableau to present visually engaging information from complex data. These combined efforts, supported by the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), and additional advisory members, provide a solid footing on which stakeholders can trace their journey back to recovery and address future challenges.
