People

This provides structure and guidance for how sales activities are conducted, from prospecting to closing deals. It should be very stage specific and should require the capture of specific “exit criteria” before moving to the next stage.  Early on, you collect baseline data to determine your initial process based on a specific hypothesis. 3. Forecast future sales and track key metrics

The third key technique used in successful sales management is a combination of forecasting and tracking.
