Evaldas Zaranka is a Trailblazer

Evaldas Zaranka’s Trailblazer journey began with a bold decision to leave behind the unpredictable hours of his cybersecurity career and set his sights on a career in tech. Inspired by the possibilities within Salesforce, he identified the Salesforce Administrator role as his ideal entry point. He began with Trailhead, Salesforce’s free online learning platform. Evaldas dedicated an hour each morning to learning, immersing himself in Trailhead’s gamified experiences, and following a focused path that aligned with his personal and professional goals. Over time, he earned more than 1,000 badges and the foundational skills needed to succeed in the Salesforce ecosystem.

Breaking into a new career is never easy, but Evaldas didn’t let obstacles define his path. While many of the roles he applied for required experience he didn’t yet have, he didn’t wait for opportunities to come to him. He reached out to hiring managers, asked thoughtful questions, and treated every interview as a chance to refine his approach. After submitting 486 applications, his persistence paid off with a life-changing offer from Just Eat Takeaway. 

Along the way, Evaldas embraced the Trailblazer Community, receiving guidance, solutions, and inspiration from others who had navigated similar paths. In return, he became an active member of the Trailblazer Community, participating in the Answers Leaderboard and mentoring others in the ecosystem. With over 4,000 questions answered, every publicly available Trailhead badge earned, and over 30 Salesforce certifications, Evaldas is a trusted resource in the Trailblazer Community. These milestones demonstrate his expertise and highlight his commitment to continuous learning and mastery. Today, as a Salesforce Architect at Valtech, Evaldas solves complex challenges, innovates for customers, and drives efficiency through cutting-edge solutions.

Using new products like Agentforce, he helps businesses streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and unlock high-impact customer interactions.
