Sara Hernández is a Trailblazer

A Journey of Perseverance

Growing up in Venezuela, Sara Hernández had her sights set on becoming a doctor. Her grandmother, however, saw her potential in a different direction and encouraged her to pursue a career in technology. Sara followed her grandmother’s guidance and quickly discovered an interest in solving business challenges through technology, honing her programming skills at a job in the banking industry.

Due to political turmoil in Venezuela, Sarah relocated to Chile and began working at a global insurance company as an IT Project Manager. It was in this role that she first encountered the Salesforce Platform. When asked to support a Salesforce project that required her Portuguese language skills, Sara stepped up, marking the start of her Salesforce journey. Having minimal knowledge of Salesforce, Sara immersed herself in learning, connecting with the Trailblazer Community, and advancing her skills through Trailhead.

Unlocking Passion and Innovation

While working on this first Salesforce project, Sara discovered that she had a true passion for the platform. She credits Salesforce with not only transforming her career, but also with helping her uncover what truly excites her professionally. After completing the project, she immersed herself even further, dedicating weekends and free time to learning on Trailhead. Sara earned numerous badges, and later, Salesforce Certifications, often overcoming moments of doubt thanks to the unwavering support of the Trailblazer Community.

After more than six months of immersive learning, Sara was entrusted with her first major Salesforce deployment — a milestone that solidified her love for the platform. For Sara, the platform’s constant innovation fuels her enthusiasm to explore cutting-edge tools, including Data Cloud, Prompt Builder, and Agentforce

Transforming Business with Salesforce

Today, Sara is a Solutions Architect at one of the largest insurance companies in Spain, where she uses Salesforce to solve complex business challenges. She actively explores ways to leverage AI and Agentforce in her personal work, implementing tools like Agentforce Service Agents to automate routine tasks and free up time, so she can focus on more productive work. She also spends time helping the community learn the latest technology. Recently, Sara worked on an Agentforce project where she built an agent to streamline the end-to-end sales process, sharing her experience with the community.

With Agentforce and Data Cloud, companies can automate tasks, gain better insights, personalize interactions, and optimize data to better understand customer needs and drive innovation.
