Salesforce announces three-year partnership with Business In The Community to support its Seeing is Believing programme and calls for business leaders to join
Company also pledges support to Coventry-based community organisations Foleshill Community Centre and Positive Youth Foundation
At Responsible Business Live 2022 this week, Salesforce and Business in the Community (BITC) announced a new three-year partnership in support of BITC’s Seeing is Believing programme, established by the organisation’s Royal Founding Patron His Majesty King Charles III.
His Majesty was in attendance at the event marking the close of BITC’s 40th Anniversary year celebrations. Over four decades, BITC has partnered with over 600 members to tackle some of the most pressing issues faced by local communities across the UK.
The Seeing Is Believing programme has played a critical role in shaping BITC’s work, giving business leaders the opportunity to see at first hand how business can provide meaningful support to those who need it. Over 25,000 individuals have joined a Seeing Is Believing visit since its establishment by His Majesty in 1990.
With the support of Salesforce, the SIB programme will continue over the next three years with BITC calling for 250 new business leaders to sign up and attend a visit. In 2023, SIB visits will take place in Blackpool, Coventry, London, Newport and Sheffield.

Salesforce UKI CEO, Zahra Bahrololoumi
After joining a Seeing Is Believing visit to Coventry, Salesforce’s UKI CEO, Zahra Bahrololoumi, has pledged on-going support to two Coventry-based organisations. Salesforce leaders will provide Foleshill Community Centre expert advice and technology support to help simplify and automate the centre’s activities to drive greater efficiency and scale. The team is also working with the Positive Youth Foundation providing the community organisation with leadership guidance and support for digital skills and mentoring programs.

BITC’s Seeing Is Believing program shows businesses how to do that in a meaningful way,” said Zahra Bahrololoumi. “I was lucky enough to attend a Seeing Is Believing visit to Coventry earlier this year, and I saw first-hand the power of bringing business leaders together to hear about the critical issues impacting people within our local communities and to understand what we can do to provide impactful and long-term support.
