Just Eat Takeaway.com boosts Partner Innovation with Salesforce

Global food delivery marketplace Just Eat Takeaway.com (JET) is using Slack Connect, Workflow Builder, Marketing Cloud, and Sales Cloud, to boost employee productivity and seamlessly scale innovation across its partner ecosystem.

Enhancing customer and partner satisfaction with Slack

With over 699,000 partners across 19 countries, collaborating with employees as well as suppliers and partners is at the heart of JET’s business model.

Slack Connect is designed to replace email and make the work that happens with outside partners faster, more productive and more secure. At JET, everyone can connect with the right people, information and tools they need to drive results and do their best work.

Unlocking productivity gains through AI and automation

UK desk workers report spending almost half of their time (48%) on tasks that are “low value, repetitive, or lack meaningful contribution to their core job functions”, according to Slack research. Another recent survey revealed how AI can help UK companies overcome the challenges that email and overflowing inboxes can have on their productivity.

Slack’s Workflow Builder automation is helping JET succeed by freeing up valuable time for employees. Workflows can be set up for common and repeatable tasks, from regularly sharing team updates to giving new employees a head start. For example, a new starter workflow greets new recruits in Slack with a welcome message, guides, and useful information, and supports them as they complete their onboarding training.

Attracting and retaining customers and partners with Marketing and Sales Cloud

With Marketing Cloud, JET can personalise external communications to attract and retain customers, restaurant partners, and delivery drivers. In line with its vision to “empower everyday convenience” Marketing Cloud brings together email and SMS campaign management, personalisation, and reporting.

Sales Cloud enables JET’s global sales and account management teams to onboard new partners on the platform, with AI insights recommending offers and next actions. All markets will have one way of working, with local guidance.

Embedding Slack across our organisation brings our employees, and partners together to drive collaboration.
