The New Mexico Human Services Department (HSD) provides low income New Mexicans with access to public assistance through governmentally funded-programs such as Medical Assistance, Income Support, Child Support Enforcement, and Behavioral Health Services. The team consolidated customer service center solution was the transcendence of the NM HSD standard operations to the cloud. Built on the FedRAMP-authorized Salesforce Government Cloud platform, the solution enables NM HSD employees to access information, collaborate with subject matter experts, and take action on next steps from their home office as easily as they could from the office before COVID-19.
